Peter Elijah vs Jack Dermott

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/01/2039 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Elijah (53(13) - 21) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and Jack Dermott(1 - 8) from Worcester, USA.  

Round 1: 

Elijah lands a jab.  
Elijah is looking to keep his distance.  Dermott attempts to land a jab, but Elijah sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Elijah strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Dermott manouvers Elijah onto the ropes.  Dermott digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Elijah lands with a stiff jab.  
Elijah steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Elijah connects with a cross.  
Elijah lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Dermott quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Elijah is on target with a cross.  
Dermott steps inside.  Elijah throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Elijah ties up his opponent.  Dermott leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Elijah's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Elijah hits home with a stinging cross.  
Dermott gets on the inside.  Elijah connects with a stinging left uppercut.  Elijah holds on to his opponent.  Elijah tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Dermott's kidney. The referee warns Elijah and breaks the clinch.

Dermott steps inside.  Elijah drives a stinging left hook into Dermott's liver.  Elijah clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Elijah pushes his forearm into Dermott's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Elijah lands an overhand right.  
Dermott closes the distance.  Dermott quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Elijah's liver.  
Dermott attempts to land a jab, but Elijah parries the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Dermott is looking to close the distance.  Elijah attempts to land a left hook, but Dermott slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Elijah tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Elijah tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.

Dermott circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Elijah is on target with a cross.  
Dermott cuts off the ring, trapping Elijah in a corner.  Dermott connects with a right uppercut.  
Dermott closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Elijah clinches his opponent.  Elijah tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Dermott behind the head. Elijah is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Dermott finds the target with a jab.  
Elijah lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Dermott almost instantly gets his legs back.
