Chris Driscoll vs John McWilliam

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/01/2039 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Driscoll (34 - 8) who hails from Bradford, UK and John McWilliam(1 - 14) from London, UK.  

Round 1: 

Driscoll lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.

Driscoll switches the action to the outside.  Driscoll feints a right hook, and then hits home with an overhand right.

McWilliam throws a right uppercut, but Driscoll clinches his opponent.  Driscoll is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Driscoll's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Driscoll throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McWilliam goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Driscoll's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Driscoll connects with a left hook.  
McWilliam throws a right uppercut, but Driscoll ties up his opponent.  McWilliam tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Driscoll behind the head. 
Driscoll switches the action to the outside.  McWilliam is on target with a jab.  
Driscoll lands a right hook.  
McWilliam gets on the inside.  Driscoll is on target with a left hook.  
McWilliam hits home with a right hook.  
McWilliam switches the action to the outside.  Driscoll feints a jab, fooling McWilliam into throwing a left hook counter.  Driscoll is waiting for the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Driscoll gets on the inside.  McWilliam throws a left uppercut, but Driscoll holds on to his opponent.  McWilliam leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Driscoll pushes his forearm into McWilliam's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Driscoll to stop fouling.  
McWilliam lands a right hook.  
McWilliam sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Driscoll throws a right uppercut, but misses the target.  Driscoll clinches his opponent.  Driscoll throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Driscoll gets on the inside and connects with a stinging right hook.  
McWilliam attempts to land a cross, but Driscoll sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
