Iwao Okamura vs Goro Hirai

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/12/2038 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Iwao Okamura (32(3) - 8) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Goro Hirai(2 - 2) from Nagoya, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Okamura is looking to close the distance.  Hirai digs in a left hook to Okamura's liver.

Hirai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hirai throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Hirai's ribs.  
Hirai lands with a ramrod jab.  
Okamura closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND DROPS HIRAI!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Hirai pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Hirai pivots to the side of his opponent, but Okamura lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Okamura sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Okamura lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Okamura clinches his opponent.  Hirai tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Okamura behind the head. Okamura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Okamura.  
Okamura throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Okamura ties up his opponent.  Okamura hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Okamura hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks Okamura's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
