Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/12/2038 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Charles Cathcart (19 - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and Sean Cookston(1 - 1) from Tallahassee, USA.

Cathcart advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Cathcart clinches his opponent.  Cathcart leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cookston lands a jab.  
Cathcart steps inside.  Cookston attempts to land a right uppercut, but Cathcart slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cathcart is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cathcart manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Cathcart pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cookston goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Cathcart to the neutral corner.  He threatens Cookston with a point deduction if he keeps fouling.

Cathcart voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Cookston is whaling away with hooks, but Cathcart keeps his defence tight.
