Wayne Lockie vs Paul McCargo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/11/2038 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Wayne Lockie (45 - 15) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Paul McCargo(1 - 3) from Jackson, USA.  

Round 1: 

McCargo advances into close range and digs in a solid right uppercut to Lockie's body.  
McCargo sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Lockie is on target with a right hook.  
McCargo cuts off the ring, trapping Lockie on the ropes.  Lockie digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
McCargo steps inside.  Lockie drives a solid right uppercut into McCargo's ribs.  
McCargo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Lockie is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lockie throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Lockie feints a right, and then lands an overhand right.  
Lockie lands an overhand right.  Lockie throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.

McCargo throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.

Lockie is on target with a stiff jab.  
McCargo gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
Lockie is on target with a firm left hook to McCargo's body.  
McCargo is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Lockie on the ropes.  McCargo lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lockie is on target with a solid cross.  
Lockie hits home with a stinging cross.  
Lockie lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
McCargo closes the distance.  McCargo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lockie throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Lockie clinches his opponent.  McCargo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McCargo lands a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lockie's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

McCargo steps inside.  McCargo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McCargo throws a left hook, but Lockie clinches his opponent.  Lockie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lockie switches the action to the outside and connects with an overhand left.  
Lockie steps to the outside and is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Lockie lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lockie feints a left, and then is on target with an overhand left.  
Lockie tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lockie feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents body.  He then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Lockie steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
McCargo closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Lockie clinches his opponent.  Lockie pushes his forearm into McCargo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lockie.  
McCargo attempts to land a left uppercut, but Lockie blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Lockie steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
McCargo connects with a left hook.  
McCargo throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
