The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Iwao Okamura (31(2) - 8) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Keiichi Sugimoto(1 - 8) from Tokorozawa, Japan.

Okamura lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Okamura clinches his opponent.  Okamura pushes his forearm into Sugimoto's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Okamura.  
Okamura throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  It looks like Sugimoto has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Okamura lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Okamura ties up his opponent.  Okamura leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Sugimoto tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Okamura behind the head. The ref breaks Okamura's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
