Greg Blain vs Mark Sheenan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/11/2038 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Greg Blain (53 - 1) who hails from Hull, UK and Mark Sheenan(4 - 12) from Huddersfield, UK.  

Round 1: 

Sheenan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Blain drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  Blain tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to Blain's ribs.  
Blain switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Blain finds the target with a jab.  
Sheenan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Blain lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Blain is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  
Blain steps away from his opponent and lands a jab.  
Sheenan feints a right hook, and then connects with a cross.

Blain steps to the outside and hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Blain sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.

Sheenan throws a left uppercut, but Blain ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Blain lands a sharp right hook.  
Blain switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Blain closes the distance.  Blain pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Blain hits home with a right hook.  
Sheenan connects with a left hook.  
Sheenan tries to keep the action at long range.  Blain lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sheenan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into Blain's liver.  
Blain connects with a cross.  
Sheenan is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Blain holds on to his opponent.  Sheenan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sheenan forces Blain to retreat onto the ropes.  Blain lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Sheenan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a firm left hook.
