Joe Leishman vs David Buchanon

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/10/2038 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joe Leishman (65 - 10) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and David Buchanon(1 - 2(1)) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Leishman lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Leishman is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Leishman feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Buchanon pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Buchanon manages to force Leishman onto the ropes.  Buchanon tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Buchanon closes the distance.  Buchanon pivots to the side of his opponent, but Leishman digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Leishman tries to step out of his opponents range.  Leishman is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Buchanon tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Buchanon closes the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Leishman blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Buchanon sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Leishman digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Buchanon is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.

Buchanon advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Leishman digs in a left hook to Buchanon's body.  
Leishman switches the action to the outside.  Leishman feints a cross, and then drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.

Buchanon is looking to close the distance.  Buchanon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Leishman throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Leishman ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Buchanon pushes his forearm into Leishman's face.  The referee warns Buchanon and breaks the clinch.  
Leishman switches the action to the outside.  Buchanon attempts to land a cross, but Leishman dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Leishman lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Leishman lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Leishman hits home with a sharp cross.  
Leishman steps to the outside and is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Buchanon advances into close range and walks Leishman down, trapping him on the ropes.  Leishman throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Leishman clinches his opponent.  Buchanon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Leishman pushes his forearm into Buchanon's face.  The ref breaks Leishman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Buchanon steps inside.  Buchanon pivots to the side of his opponent.  Buchanon throws a right uppercut, but Leishman clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Leishman pushes his forearm into Buchanon's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Leishman to stop fouling.  
Leishman steps to the outside and connects with a solid cross.  
Buchanon pivots from in front of his opponent, but Leishman lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Leishman feints a left, and then lands a stinging cross.  
Buchanon steps inside.  Leishman lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.
