Mike Malis vs Cody Bellucci

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/10/2038 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mike Malis (28 - 8) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Cody Bellucci(0 - 4(1)) from Cairns, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Malis gets on the inside.  Malis sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Malis closes the distance.  Malis quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Malis backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Bellucci is whaling away with hooks, but Malis keeps his defence tight.  Bellucci lands a left uppercut.  
Bellucci connects with a left hook.  
Bellucci sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Malis lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Bellucci pivots from in front of his opponent, but Malis lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bellucci tries to keep the action at long range.  Malis is on target with a jab.  
Bellucci switches the action to the outside.  Malis lands an overhand right.  
Bellucci pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Malis's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
