Seung-gyu Jo vs Boyce Fokou

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/10/2038 from Changwon, South Korea:

The Changwon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Seung-gyu Jo (6 - 1) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Boyce Fokou(8 - 7) from Douala, Cameroon.  

Round 1: 

Jo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Fokou pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Jo's ribs.  
Jo is looking to close the distance.  Fokou is on target with a left hook.  
Jo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Fokou hits home with a cross.  
Fokou steps inside and drives a right hook into Jo's body.  
Fokou is on target with a jab.  Fokou throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Jo steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Fokou advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Jo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Jo pushes his forearm into Fokou's face.  The ref breaks Jo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Fokou advances into close range.  Fokou quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Jo lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Fokou gets on the inside.  Fokou pivots to the side of his opponent.  Fokou throws a right hook, but Jo holds on to his opponent.  Jo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Fokou uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Jo behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jo is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a solid cross.  
Fokou sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Jo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Fokou is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Fokou is on target with a right uppercut.  
Jo is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Jo closes the distance.  Fokou throws a right hook, but Jo holds on to his opponent.  Jo pushes his forearm into Fokou's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Jo.  
Jo steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
Fokou advances into close range.  Jo digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Jo steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross to Fokou's body.

Jo lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Fokou advances into close range.  Fokou pivots to the side of his opponent.  Fokou throws a left uppercut, but Jo holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fokou manouvers Jo onto the ropes.  Fokou sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Jo's body.  
Fokou gets on the inside.  Fokou pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a firm left hook to Jo's body.  
Fokou attempts to land a jab, but Jo blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
