Paul Foyle vs May Mathoho

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/10/2038 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Foyle (13 - 2) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and May Mathoho(2 - 3) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  

Round 1: 

Foyle is looking to close the distance.  Mathoho lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Mathoho tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  Mathoho attempts to land a cross, but Foyle slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Foyle gets on the inside.  Mathoho pivots to the side of his opponent.  Foyle lands a left hook.  Foyle tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mathoho lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mathoho steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Mathoho pivots to the left of his opponent.  Foyle tries to land a right uppercut, but Mathoho slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mathoho pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Foyle is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mathoho pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mathoho throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Foyle finds the target with a jab.  
Mathoho pivots to the left of his opponent, but Foyle connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Foyle closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Foyle lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Mathoho pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Foyle's body.  
Mathoho quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.

Foyle closes the distance.  Mathoho sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Foyle lands a solid left hook.  
Mathoho pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mathoho throws a right hook, but Foyle holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mathoho pushes his forearm into Foyle's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mathoho tries to land a cross, but Foyle sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Foyle steps to the outside.  Mathoho connects with a cross.  
Foyle is looking to close the distance.  Mathoho pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Foyle's liver.  
Mathoho throws a left uppercut, but Foyle holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Foyle pushes his forearm into Mathoho's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Foyle about fouling.
