Rob Craib vs Michael Regalado

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/10/2038 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Craib (72(15) - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and Michael Regalado(0 - 5) from Oxnard, USA.  

Round 1: 

Craib advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Craib lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Craib backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Regalado steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Craib closes the distance.  Regalado sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Craib lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Craib lands a left hook.  
Craib gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Craib clinches his opponent.  Regalado pushes his forearm into Craib's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Craib steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Craib finds the target with a jab.  
Craib is looking to close the distance.  Regalado throws a right hook, but Craib clinches his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Craib pushes his forearm into Regalado's face.  The ref breaks Craib's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Regalado attempts to land a left uppercut, but Craib sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Regalado lands a right uppercut.  
Craib gets on the inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Regalado is on target with a cross.  
Craib lands with a ramrod jab.  
Craib gets on the inside.  Regalado throws a right hook, but Craib clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Craib pushes his forearm into Regalado's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Craib digs in a right hook to Regalado's body.  Craib ties up his opponent.  Craib is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Craib and breaks the clinch.  
Craib lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Regalado recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Craib drives a right uppercut into Regalado's ribs.  
Regalado pivots from in front of his opponent, but Craib lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Regalado switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Craib slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Craib steps inside.  Regalado throws a left uppercut, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Regalado behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Craib's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Craib lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Craib lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Craib connects with a right uppercut.  
Craib lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Craib hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Regalado drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Regalado is on target with a jab.  
Craib lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS REGALADO TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Regalado almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Craib snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Craib hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Craib lands a firm jab to his opponents body.  
Regalado is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Craib lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Regalado's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Regalado tries to land a cross, but Craib sidesteps and counters with a VICIOUS cross.  DOWN GOES REGALADO!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT REGALADO IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Craib!
