Daniel Magee vs Ian Balch

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/10/2038 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daniel Magee (29 - 12) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Ian Balch(3 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Magee closes the distance.  Balch throws a right uppercut, but Magee clinches his opponent.  Balch pushes his forearm into Magee's face.  The ref breaks Magee's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Magee lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Magee steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Magee quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Balch is on target with a right uppercut.  
Balch throws a left hook, but Magee clinches his opponent.  Balch pushes his forearm into Magee's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Magee is on target with a jab.  
Balch is on target with a right hook.  
Magee lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Magee lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Magee holds on to his opponent.  Magee is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Magee connects with a left hook.  
Magee lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.

Balch is on target with a jab.  Balch throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.

Magee throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Magee clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Balch pushes his forearm into Magee's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Balch.  
Magee lands a left hook.  
Magee lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Balch almost instantly recovers. 
Balch throws a left hook, but Magee ties up his opponent.  The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Magee to stop holding.  
Magee whips in a nasty left hook to his opponents liver.  BALCH IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Magee!
