Lewis Sillars vs Ellis Skeldon

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/10/2038 from Providence, USA:

The Providence venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lewis Sillars (24(5) - 5) who hails from Providence, USA and Ellis Skeldon(26 - 7) from Jacksonville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Sillars steps inside and connects with a right hook.

Skeldon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Sillars tries to keep the action at long range.  Sillars is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Skeldon tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Skeldon steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Skeldon attempts to land a jab, but Sillars blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Sillars circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Skeldon throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Sillars's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Skeldon advances into close range and forces Sillars to retreat onto the ropes.  Skeldon hits home with a stinging left uppercut.
