Yuji Yamazaki vs Ichiro Matsuno

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/09/2038 from Fukuoka, Japan:

The Fukuoka venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Yuji Yamazaki (3 - 9) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Ichiro Matsuno(1 - 3) from Ichinomiya, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Matsuno closes the distance.  Yamazaki throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Matsuno's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Matsuno is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Yamazaki sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Yamazaki throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Matsuno closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Yamazaki on the ropes.  Matsuno pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Matsuno sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Yamazaki lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Matsuno advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Matsuno advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents body.
