Vince Monica vs George Bald

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/09/2038 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vince Monica (54(15) - 14) who hails from Gainesville, USA and George Bald(1 - 5) from Spokane, USA.  

Round 1: 

Bald is looking to close the distance.  Monica lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Bald hits home with a right hook.  
Bald throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Monica gets on the inside and is on target with a solid right uppercut.  
Monica digs in a right hook to Bald's ribs.  
Monica steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Monica holds on to his opponent.  Monica leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Monica lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Bald throws a right hook, but Monica ties up his opponent.  Monica pushes his forearm into Bald's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Monica.  
Monica digs in a right uppercut to Bald's body.  
Monica walks Bald down, trapping him on the ropes.  Monica digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Monica lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Monica clinches his opponent.  Monica is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Monica lands a right hook.  
Monica gets on the inside and forces Bald to back into a neutral corner.  Monica lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Monica holds on to his opponent.  Monica throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Monica about fouling.  
Monica lands with a stinging jab.  
Monica is on target with a firm cross.  
Monica steps inside.  Bald throws a left hook, but Monica ties up his opponent.  Monica leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Monica's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Monica lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Monica lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Monica ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Monica pushes his forearm into Bald's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Monica.  
Monica pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Bald throws a right hook, but Monica clinches his opponent.  Monica is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Monica tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bald's kidney. The ref breaks Monica's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Bald now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Monica is on target with a left hook.  
Monica crashes a nasty left hook to his opponents body.  BALD WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Bald almost instantly recovers.

Monica manouvers Bald into the red corner.  Monica digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Monica hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Monica crashes a mean left hook to his opponents liver.  BALD WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Bald recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Monica lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Monica lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Monica holds on to his opponent.  Monica leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Monica's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Monica connects with a solid right hook.  
Monica advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Bald could be stopped here, if Monica can find the right shot!  Monica lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS BALD TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Bald cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Monica!
