Kyo Ota vs Kyo Namba

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/09/2038 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kyo Ota (32 - 20(1)) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Kyo Namba(8 - 17) from Ichinomiya, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Namba pivots to the left of his opponent.  Namba tries to land a right hook, but Ota slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Namba quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Namba attempts to land a cross, but Ota sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Ota is looking to close the distance.  Namba attempts to land a left uppercut, but Ota sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.

Ota throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ota walks Namba down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ota quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Namba is looking to keep his distance.  Ota lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Namba lands a hard jab.  
Ota is on target with a sharp cross.  Ota goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Namba's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
