Richard Paulin vs Hiroki Higashi

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/08/2038 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Richard Paulin (28 - 6) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Hiroki Higashi(2 - 13) from Honolulu, USA.  

Round 1: 

Higashi steps inside.  Higashi throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Paulin time to recover.  
Paulin tries to keep the action at long range and lands a ramrod jab.  
Higashi sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Paulin lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Higashi is on target with an overhand right.  
Higashi attempts to land a jab, but Paulin slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Higashi's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Paulin's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Higashi cuts off the ring, trapping Paulin on the ropes.  Higashi tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Higashi steps inside.  Paulin lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Paulin feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Higashi lands a cross.  
Paulin attempts to land a jab, but Higashi slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Higashi walks Paulin down, trapping him on the ropes.  Higashi lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Paulin steps to the outside.  Higashi lands an overhand right.  
Paulin lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Higashi throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
