Chrestien Cevert vs Kris Lythgoe

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/08/2038 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chrestien Cevert (41(1) - 25) who hails from Lonueuil, Canada and Kris Lythgoe(1 - 7) from Saskatoon, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Lythgoe feints a left, and then tries to land a jab, but Cevert sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cevert pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm left uppercut to Lythgoe's ribs.  
Cevert tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cevert advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Cevert closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cevert is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Cevert advances into close range and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Cevert connects with a firm cross.  
Lythgoe tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.

Lythgoe throws a left hook, but Cevert holds on to his opponent.  Cevert uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Lythgoe's kidney. Cevert leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Cevert sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Cevert gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Cevert lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cevert closes the distance and throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Cevert ties up his opponent.  Cevert leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Cevert to stop holding.

Lythgoe switches the action to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  
Cevert gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cevert manages to force Lythgoe into the red corner.  Cevert lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Cevert senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Lythgoe and just needs the right shot.  Cevert slams a big left hook into his opponents liver.  LYTHGOE IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  Lythgoe now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Lythgoe throws a left hook, but Cevert ties up his opponent.  Cevert throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Cevert lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DROPS LYTHGOE TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Cevert lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cevert lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Cevert lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Cevert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND DROPS LYTHGOE!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Cevert!
