Mike Buchanan vs Chris Lemonds

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/07/2038 from Anchorage, USA:

The Anchorage venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mike Buchanan (17 - 13) who hails from Anchorage, USA and Chris Lemonds(7 - 11(1)) from Mobile, USA.  

Round 1: 

Lemonds closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Lemonds backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Buchanan steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.

Buchanan gets on the inside and lands a stinging right hook.  Buchanan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Lemonds parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Buchanan steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Buchanan's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
