Diego Freitas vs Alvino Mirante

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/07/2038 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Freitas (16 - 7) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Alvino Mirante(2 - 1) from Belem, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Freitas steps to the outside.  Freitas feints a jab, fooling Mirante into launching a right hook counter.  Freitas springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut.  
Freitas tries to step out of his opponents range.  Freitas feints a jab, but Mirante ignores the feint and responds with a right uppercut.  
Mirante manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Mirante sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Freitas lands a hard jab.  
Freitas switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Freitas feints a cross, and then lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Freitas lands a stinging jab.  
Freitas steps away from his opponent.  Freitas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mirante throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mirante lands a jab.  
Mirante manages to force Freitas onto the ropes.  Freitas lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Freitas feints a left, and then lands a spiteful jab.  
Freitas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid overhand right.  
Freitas is on target with a stiff jab.

Freitas drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Mirante tries to land a jab, but Freitas sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mirante steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Freitas is looking to keep his distance.  Freitas feints a right hook, and then attempts to land a jab, but Mirante blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Freitas steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Mirante is looking to close the distance.  Freitas digs in a right uppercut to Mirante's body.
