Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/06/2038 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jamie Oliphant (23 - 9) who hails from Huntington Beach, USA and Alec Hovey(1 - 11) from Paterson, USA.  

Round 1: 

Oliphant connects with a cross.  Oliphant attempts to land a jab, but Hovey blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Hovey advances into close range.  Hovey sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Oliphant lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Hovey lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hovey gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Oliphant clinches his opponent.  Hovey is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hovey about fouling.

Hovey closes the distance.  Oliphant lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Oliphant is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Hovey throws a right hook, but Oliphant holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Oliphant pushes his forearm into Hovey's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Oliphant to stop fouling.
