Carlos Platero vs Phillippe Arabie

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/05/2038 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Platero (10 - 4) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Phillippe Arabie(1 - 0) from Paris, France.  

Round 1: 

Platero gets on the inside.  Arabie attempts to land a left hook, but Platero sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Arabie lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Platero gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Arabie tries to land a left uppercut, but Platero dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Platero cuts off the ring, trapping Arabie on the ropes.  Platero lands a right hook.  
Platero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Platero closes the distance.  Platero pivots to the right of his opponent, but Arabie lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Arabie is looking to keep his distance and drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Arabie steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Platero blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Platero lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Arabie is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Platero steps inside.  Platero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Platero pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Arabie is on target with a left hook.  
Platero gets on the inside.  Platero pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Platero advances into close range.  Platero pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Arabie's body.  
Platero finds the target with a jab.  
Arabie sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Platero connects with a stinging right hook.  
Arabie is looking to keep his distance.  Arabie feints a jab, but Platero ignores the feint and lands with a solid left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Platero's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Platero voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Arabie accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Platero.  
Arabie pivots to the left of his opponent, but Platero drives a jab into Arabie's body.

Arabie is on target with a left hook.  
Platero snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.
