The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sam Ferris (0 - 3) who hails from Henderson, USA and Kiwi Ahitana(0 - 7(1)) from Honolulu, USA.  

Round 1: 

Ahitana closes the distance.  Ferris tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ferris finds the target with a jab.  
Ferris feints a cross, and then lands with a solid jab.  
Ferris lands an overhand left, jab and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Ferris steps to the outside and lands a solid cross.  Ferris throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ahitana gets on the inside.  Ferris lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Ferris switches the action to the outside.  Ferris feints a right hook, and then connects with a cross.  
Ferris hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Ahitana is on target with a cross.  
Ferris steps away from his opponent.  Ferris sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ferris's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.

Ferris circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Ahitana throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Ahitana walks his opponent into the red corner.  Ahitana is on target with a cross.
