Verrier Ostiguy vs Nathan Bratten

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/05/2038 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Verrier Ostiguy (50 - 12) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Nathan Bratten(2 - 5) from Melbourne, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Ostiguy tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Ostiguy is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Bratten throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Bratten advances into close range and manages to force Ostiguy into a corner.  Ostiguy hits home with a stinging left hook.

Bratten gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  Bratten attempts to land a left hook, but Ostiguy blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Ostiguy is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Bratten is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Ostiguy holds on to his opponent.  Ostiguy is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Ostiguy and breaks the clinch.

Bratten closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Ostiguy holds on to his opponent.  Bratten leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Bratten pushes his forearm into Ostiguy's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Bratten closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Ostiguy ties up his opponent.  Bratten is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bratten to stop fouling.
