Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/05/2038 from Chicago, USA:

The Chicago venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Strahan (17 - 5) who hails from Chicago, USA and Chris Brickell(1 - 8) from Santa Ana, USA.

Brickell connects with a cross.

Strahan throws a left uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  Strahan clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Strahan pushes his forearm into Brickell's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Strahan.  
Brickell throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Strahan's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Strahan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Strahan cuts off the ring, trapping Brickell in a corner.  Brickell digs in a right hook to Strahan's body.  
Strahan lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Strahan advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Strahan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Brickell lands with a stiff jab.  
Brickell closes the distance.  Strahan digs in a stinging left uppercut to Brickell's body.  
Strahan connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Brickell throws a left hook, but Strahan holds on to his opponent.  Strahan uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Brickell behind the head. 
Strahan advances into close range and digs in a right uppercut to Brickell's ribs.  
Brickell throws a right hook, but Strahan clinches his opponent.  Brickell is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Brickell about fouling.  
Strahan closes the distance.  Brickell throws a right hook, but Strahan holds on to his opponent.  Strahan hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Strahan hits home with a solid jab.
