Leon Hance vs Robert Ippolito

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/05/2038 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leon Hance (44(13) - 10) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Robert Ippolito(1 - 0) from Sydney, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Hance gets on the inside.  Ippolito connects with a left hook.  Hance ties up his opponent.  Hance is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Hance pushes his forearm into Ippolito's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hance to stop fouling.  
Hance is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ippolito pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ippolito throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Hance advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Hance holds on to his opponent.  Hance is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ippolito hits home with a cross.  
Hance is looking to close the distance.  Hance sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hance lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Hance holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ippolito pushes his forearm into Hance's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ippolito about fouling.  
Hance digs in a sharp left hook to Ippolito's ribs.  
Hance forces Ippolito to back into the red corner.  Hance throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Hance ties up his opponent.  Ippolito uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hance's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ippolito to stop fouling.  
Ippolito lands a left hook.  
Ippolito lands a left uppercut.  
Hance lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ippolito sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ippolito throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a big left hook.  IPPOLITO IS HURT!  Ippolito quickly recovers. 
Ippolito drives a left hook into Hance's body.  
Ippolito hits home with a left hook.  
Ippolito throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hance lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hance is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Hance is on target with a stinging right hook.  Hance clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ippolito pushes his forearm into Hance's face.  The referee warns Ippolito and breaks the clinch.  
Ippolito pivots to the side of his opponent, but Hance lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hance lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Hance advances into close range.  Hance sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Hance pivots to the right of his opponent, but Ippolito digs in a right uppercut to Hance's body.  
Hance manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hance pivots to the side of his opponent.  Hance digs in a stinging right hook to Ippolito's body.  Hance ties up his opponent.  Hance leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
