Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/05/2038 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ian Smith (58(1) - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and Oscar Bayne(1 - 9) from Montgomery, USA.  

Round 1: 

Smith closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Bayne drives a solid left hook into Smith's body.

Bayne sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Smith is on target with a left hook.  
Smith gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Smith lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Smith closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  Smith holds on to his opponent.  Smith pushes his forearm into Bayne's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Smith is looking to close the distance.  Bayne sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Bayne attempts to land a right hook, but Smith sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Bayne attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Smith to the neutral corner.  He warns Bayne that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.
