Bum-young Ye vs Bo-kyung Chung

Boxing Daily Report from the South Korea National Finals 2038,  taking place on 02/05/2038 from Goyang, South Korea:

The Goyang venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bum-young Ye (37(10) - 29(1)) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Bo-kyung Chung(10 - 6) from Incheon, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Chung is on target with a solid right uppercut.  
Ye steps inside.  Chung throws a right hook, but Ye ties up his opponent.  Ye is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ye lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ye manouvers Chung onto the ropes.  Chung lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Ye clinches his opponent.  Ye pushes his forearm into Chung's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Chung pivots to the right of his opponent, but Ye lands a jab.  
Chung tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Ye connects with a solid left hook.  
Chung pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Chung lands a stinging jab.  
Chung lands a cross.  
Ye sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ye walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Ye lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ye is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Ye lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ye lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Chung throws a left hook, but Ye holds on to his opponent.  Ye leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Chung sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
Chung lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ye is looking to close the distance and lands a big left uppercut.  CHUNG WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Ye sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Ye lands a right uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head, KNOCKING CHUNG DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Chung now seems to have got his legs back.  
Chung sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Ye lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Chung now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Ye gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS CHUNG SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Ye lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ye clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ye pushes his forearm into Chung's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Ye gets on the inside and is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  CHUNG IS HURT!  Ye tries to land a left hook, but Chung slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  Chung recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Chung tries to land a jab, but Ye sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ye connects with a telling cross.  CHUNG IS HURT!  
Ye closes the distance.  Ye thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Chung away.  Ye lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS CHUNG!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ye!
