Amjad Latif vs Malik Burhan

Boxing Daily Report from the Yemen National Finals 2038,  taking place on 29/04/2038 from Al Hudaydah, Yemen:

The Al Hudaydah venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Amjad Latif (11(1) - 18(3)) who hails from Aden, Yemen and Malik Burhan(24(1) - 5) from Aden, Yemen.  

Round 1: 

Burhan closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Latif closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Burhan's body.  Latif throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

Burhan lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Burhan pivots from in front of his opponent.  Latif lands a firm left hook.  Latif attempts to land a left hook, but Burhan sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Latif tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Burhan drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Burhan drives a right hook into Latif's body.  
Burhan pivots from in front of his opponent.  Burhan connects with a left hook.  Burhan clinches his opponent.  Burhan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
