The Medina venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Aftab Abaza (10 - 19(2)) who hails from Taif, Saudi Arabia and Haaris Maarouf(63(9) - 18) from Dammam, Saudi Arabia.  

Round 1:

Maarouf closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Maarouf lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Abaza almost instantly recovers. 
Maarouf pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Maarouf lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Maarouf clinches his opponent.  Maarouf pushes his forearm into Abaza's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Maarouf gets on the inside.  Maarouf pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Abaza is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Maarouf gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Maarouf gets on the inside.  Maarouf pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Abaza pivots to the right of his opponent, but Maarouf is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.

Abaza steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Abaza attempts to land a jab, but Maarouf slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Maarouf hits home with a sharp cross.  
Abaza switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Maarouf sidesteps and counters with a hurtful right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE ABAZA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Abaza quickly recovers. 
Abaza throws a right uppercut, but Maarouf clinches his opponent.  Maarouf is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Maarouf.  
Maarouf lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Maarouf holds on to his opponent.  Maarouf leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maarouf throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Maarouf clinches his opponent.  Maarouf tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Abaza's kidney. The ref breaks Maarouf's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Maarouf lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Maarouf clinches his opponent.  Maarouf leans on his opponent using all his weight. Maarouf tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Abaza behind the head. The ref breaks Maarouf's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Abaza tries to keep the action at long range.  Abaza could be stopped here, if Maarouf can find the right shot!  Maarouf drives a weighty left hook into his opponents body.  ABAZA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Abaza has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Maarouf walks Abaza down, trapping him on the ropes.  Abaza tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Maarouf advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Maarouf is looking to force the stoppage!  Maarouf is on target with a weighty left hook to Abaza's ribs.  DOWN GOES ABAZA!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Maarouf!
