Greg Abram vs Jay Ogier

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/04/2038 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Greg Abram (21(4) - 9) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Jay Ogier(17 - 8(1)) from Paris, France.  

Round 1: 

Abram digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Ogier lands with a hard jab.  
Ogier sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Abram steps inside.  Ogier hits home with a firm left hook.  
Abram is on target with a right uppercut to Ogier's ribs.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Abram's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Abram throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Abram lands a left hook to the head, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Abram lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Abram gets on the inside.  Ogier lands a right hook.  Abram ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Abram walks his opponent into a corner.  Abram digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE OGIER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Abram senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Ogier and just needs the right shot.  Abram lands a right hook to the head, a cross to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES OGIER!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Ogier has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Abram lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Abram digs in a left uppercut to Ogier's liver.  
Abram digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Abram drives a right hook into Ogier's body.  
Abram is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Abram sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook to Ogier's body.  
Abram drives a left hook into Ogier's body.  Abram ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Abram attempts to land a left hook, but Ogier sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ogier steps to the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Abram gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut.  
Ogier finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Abram lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Abram is on target with a left hook to Ogier's body.  
Ogier is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a jab.  
Abram forces Ogier to back into the ropes.  Abram lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Ogier recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ogier steps away from his opponent and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.

Abram is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Ogier lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Ogier steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Abram advances into close range.  Ogier hits home with a right uppercut.  
Ogier hits home with a right hook.  
Abram lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ogier finds the target with a jab.  
Ogier attempts to land a right hook, but Abram slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Abram quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Abram whips in a mean right hook to his opponents body.  OGIER IS HURT!  
Abram knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Abram lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Abram advances into close range.  Abram is on target with a telling left uppercut to Ogier's body.  DOWN GOES OGIER!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Abram!
