Boxing Daily Report from the Zimbabwe National Finals 2038,  taking place on 26/04/2038 from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe:

The Bulawayo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Elliot Bonyongwe (2 - 3) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Ian Chiweshe(15(3) - 13) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  

Round 1: 

Chiweshe closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Chiweshe advances into close range.  Bonyongwe is on target with a right hook.  
Chiweshe lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Chiweshe holds on to his opponent.  Chiweshe pushes his forearm into Bonyongwe's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bonyongwe switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Chiweshe lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Chiweshe is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Bonyongwe connects with a solid left hook.  
Chiweshe sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a potent left uppercut to his opponents body.  BONYONGWE IS HURT!  Bonyongwe quickly recovers. 
Chiweshe lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Bonyongwe throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Chiweshe ties up his opponent.  Chiweshe throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Chiweshe lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Chiweshe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bonyongwe throws a left hook, but Chiweshe clinches his opponent.  Chiweshe pushes his forearm into Bonyongwe's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Chiweshe digs in a left hook to Bonyongwe's ribs.  
Chiweshe sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Bonyongwe is on target with a right hook.  
Chiweshe digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Chiweshe is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Chiweshe lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Chiweshe digs in a left hook to Bonyongwe's ribs.  Chiweshe clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Chiweshe lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Chiweshe drives a potent right hook into Bonyongwe's ribs.  BONYONGWE IS HURT!  
Chiweshe senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Bonyongwe and just needs the right shot.  Chiweshe lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND BONYONGWE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Chiweshe thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Bonyongwe away.  Chiweshe lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND BONYONGWE IS DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Chiweshe!
