Gregor Sitali vs Oringo Mungandu

Boxing Daily Report from the Zambia National Finals 2038,  taking place on 26/04/2038 from Kitwe, Zambia:

The Kitwe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gregor Sitali (60 - 20) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Oringo Mungandu(14 - 10) from Lusaka, Zambia.  

Round 1: 

Mungandu throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Sitali lands a sharp left hook.  
Sitali lands a right hook.  
Mungandu lands a left hook.  
Mungandu lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sitali closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Mungandu sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sitali lands a stinging jab.  Sitali tries to land a jab, but Mungandu sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Sitali is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sitali sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Sitali walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Sitali pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Sitali lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sitali is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Sitali attempts to land a left uppercut, but Mungandu parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mungandu pivots to the left of his opponent, but Sitali lands with a stiff jab.  
Mungandu tries to land a jab, but Sitali sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Mungandu lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sitali sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a stinging right hook into Mungandu's ribcage.  
Mungandu tries to step out of his opponents range.  Sitali lands a jab to Mungandu's body.  
Sitali is looking to close the distance and forces Mungandu to retreat onto the ropes.  Mungandu throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sitali's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Mungandu switches the action to the outside.  Sitali lands a hard jab.  
Mungandu steps away from his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Sitali connects with a sharp cross.  
Mungandu lands a solid left hook.  
Mungandu lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sitali connects with a cross.  
Mungandu pivots to the side of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Mungandu walks Sitali down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mungandu pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mungandu hits home with a sharp right hook.  Mungandu attempts to land a cross, but Sitali blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Sitali pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a firm cross.  
Mungandu hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Mungandu goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Sitali's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Sitali hits home with a left hook.  
Sitali quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a forceful left hook into Mungandu's ribs.  MUNGANDU IS HURT!  
Sitali stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Sitali lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND SENDS MUNGANDU SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Sitali manouvers Mungandu onto the ropes.  Sitali is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Sitali slams a nasty left hook into Mungandu's liver.  MUNGANDU IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Sitali lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body, AND MUNGANDU IS DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Mungandu can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Sitali!
