Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/04/2038 from Buenos Aires, Argentina:

The Buenos Aires venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Marcelo (2 - 1) who hails from La Plata, Argentina and Juan Cruz(2 - 9) from Mendoza, Argentina.  

Round 1: 

Marcelo is on target with a stinging cross.  
Cruz lands with a stinging jab.  
Cruz walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Cruz connects with a right hook.  
Marcelo is on target with a cross.  
Cruz finds the target with a jab.  
Cruz manouvers Marcelo onto the ropes.  Marcelo is on target with a stinging cross to Cruz's body.

Marcelo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Marcelo is on target with a left uppercut.  
Marcelo backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Cruz steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Marcelo is on target with a jab to Cruz's body.  
Cruz attempts to land a cross, but Marcelo sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Cruz tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Cruz sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Marcelo's body.  
Marcelo tries to keep the action at long range.  Cruz connects with an overhand left.  
Cruz quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Marcelo throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Cruz to the neutral corner.  He lectures Marcelo but does not take away a point.  
Cruz gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Cruz digs in a left uppercut to Marcelo's body.  
Marcelo finds the target with a jab.  
Cruz is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Marcelo's body.  Cruz tries to land a left uppercut, but Marcelo blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Cruz is looking to close the distance.  Cruz sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Marcelo hits home with a left hook.

Cruz lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.
