Boxing Daily Report from the Mexico National Finals 2038,  taking place on 17/04/2038 from Tonala, Mexico:

The Tonala venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Elias Mazo (11(1) - 4) who hails from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico and Juan Valentin(31(6) - 8) from Mexico City, Mexico.

Valentin gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Valentin holds on to his opponent.  Valentin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Valentin pushes his forearm into Mazo's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mazo is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab.  Mazo attempts to land a jab, but Valentin dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Valentin advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Valentin walks Mazo onto the ropes.  Mazo lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.
