Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia National Finals 2038,  taking place on 14/04/2038 from Riga, Latvia:

The Riga venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Evgeny Stadinsh (10 - 15) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Fedar Augstroze(15 - 16) from Riga, Latvia.  

Round 1: 

Augstroze is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to Stadinsh's liver.  
Stadinsh steps away from his opponent and connects with an overhand right.  
Augstroze closes the distance.  Augstroze quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Augstroze steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Augstroze holds on to his opponent.  Augstroze pushes his forearm into Stadinsh's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Augstroze.  
Stadinsh drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Augstroze is on target with a right hook to Stadinsh's body.  
Augstroze digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Augstroze manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Augstroze lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Augstroze clinches his opponent.  Stadinsh leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Stadinsh pushes his forearm into Augstroze's face.  The ref breaks Augstroze's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Stadinsh hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Augstroze is on target with a solid left hook.  Augstroze holds on to his opponent.  Augstroze uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Stadinsh's kidney. Augstroze leans on his opponent using all his weight. Stadinsh uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Augstroze behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Stadinsh to stop fouling.  
Augstroze lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body, AND DROPS STADINSH!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Stadinsh now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Augstroze lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Augstroze closes the distance and forces Stadinsh to back into the corner.  Stadinsh throws a left hook, but Augstroze clinches his opponent.  Stadinsh is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Stadinsh pushes his forearm into Augstroze's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Stadinsh.  
Stadinsh throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Augstroze lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Augstroze walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Stadinsh hits home with a left hook.  
Augstroze pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Augstroze closes the distance and manouvers Stadinsh into a corner.  Augstroze is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Stadinsh connects with a sharp right hook.  
Stadinsh tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a hurtful right hook to Stadinsh's body.  STADINSH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Stadinsh quickly recovers. 
Augstroze quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Augstroze connects with a VICIOUS right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE STADINSH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!

Stadinsh throws a left hook, but Augstroze ties up his opponent.  Augstroze leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Augstroze hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Stadinsh is on target with a solid left hook.  
Augstroze lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stadinsh tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a solid jab.
