Paul Douglass vs Dave Torbett

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/04/2038 from El Paso, USA:

The El Paso venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Douglass (23 - 3) who hails from Dallas, USA and Dave Torbett(1 - 5) from Philadelphia, USA.  

Round 1: 

Douglass gets on the inside.  Torbett lands a firm left uppercut.  
Douglass pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook.

Torbett tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.

Douglass lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Douglass leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Torbett steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Douglass digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Douglass lands a firm right hook.  Douglass tries to land a left hook, but Torbett parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Torbett advances into close range.  Douglass throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Torbett time to recover.  
Douglass is looking to keep his distance and lands with a stinging jab.  
Douglass drives a left hook into Torbett's liver.  
Torbett sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Douglass drives a hard jab into his opponents face.
