Fraco Leonardo vs Ora Barbara

Boxing Daily Report from the Peru National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/04/2038 from Huacho, Peru:

The Huacho venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fraco Leonardo (4 - 7) who hails from Lima, Peru and Ora Barbara(36(8) - 11) from Trujillo, Peru.  

Round 1: 

Leonardo lands a straight 1 - 2.  Leonardo tries to land a jab, but Barbara sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Barbara advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Leonardo almost instantly recovers.

Barbara forces Leonardo to back into the ropes.  Barbara lands a left uppercut.  Barbara clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Barbara's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Barbara lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Leonardo almost instantly recovers. 
Barbara lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Leonardo almost instantly recovers. 
Barbara is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  Barbara clinches his opponent.  Barbara is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Barbara.  
Barbara is on target with a sharp left hook to Leonardo's body.  
Leonardo is on target with a right hook to Barbara's body.  
Barbara lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Barbara lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Barbara is on target with a solid right hook.  
Barbara throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Barbara clinches his opponent.  Leonardo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Leonardo about fouling.  
Leonardo is looking to keep his distance.  Barbara throws an overhand right, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Leonardo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
Barbara is looking to close the distance.  Leonardo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Barbara time to recover.

Barbara is on target with a solid left hook.  Barbara holds on to his opponent.  Barbara leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Leonardo tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Barbara advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Barbara digs in a potent right hook to his opponents body.  LEONARDO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Leonardo now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Barbara drives a stinging left hook into Leonardo's ribs.  Barbara clinches his opponent.  Leonardo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Barbara leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Barbara's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Barbara gets on the inside and hits home with a solid right uppercut.  
Barbara walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Barbara pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS LEONARDO TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Leonardo cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Barbara!
