Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2038,  taking place on 01/04/2038 from Spanish Town, Jamaica:

The Spanish Town venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ashley Steven (4 - 0) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Robert Ritchison(29 - 28) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Ritchison advances into close range.  Steven tries to land a left hook, but Ritchison slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.

Ritchison gets on the inside.  Steven sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  Steven throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Ritchison to the neutral corner.  He tells Steven he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Steven steps away from his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.
