James Boone vs Robert Lang

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/04/2038 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are James Boone (29 - 14) who hails from Miramar, USA and Robert Lang(1 - 15(1)) from Stamford, USA.  

Round 1: 

Boone connects with a firm overhand left.  
Lang attempts to land a cross, but Boone slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Lang is on target with a right hook.  
Boone tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a solid cross.  Boone throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Boone digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Boone lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Lang advances into close range.  Boone lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lang is looking to close the distance.  Boone lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Boone tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lang hits home with a firm cross.  
Lang lands a cross.  
Lang cuts off the ring, trapping Boone on the ropes.  Lang lands a stiff jab.  
Lang is on target with a jab.  
Boone switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Lang finds the target with a jab.  
Boone is on target with a left uppercut to Lang's liver.  
Lang is looking to close the distance.  Boone lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lang walks Boone down, trapping him on the ropes.  Boone digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Lang sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Boone lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lang strikes his opponents body with a sharp cross.  
Boone switches the action to the outside.  Boone lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Lang lands a sharp jab.  
Lang walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Boone digs in a right hook to Lang's body.  
Lang is looking to close the distance.  Lang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Boone tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lang tries to land a jab, but Boone slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Boone is looking to keep his distance.  Boone feints a jab, and then lands a cross, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Lang advances into close range and manages to force Boone onto the ropes.  Lang attempts to land a left hook, but Boone parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Boone drives a stinging right uppercut into Lang's body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lang's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Lang forces Boone to back into a corner.  Boone lands a right hook.  
Boone hits home with a left hook.  
Lang throws a left uppercut, but Boone ties up his opponent.  Boone uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Lang's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Boone about fouling.  
Lang tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Boone finds the target with a jab.  
Boone feints a left, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lang is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Boone is on target with a cross.  
Boone is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Boone sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a firm cross.  
Boone lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Lang closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Boone ties up his opponent.  Boone is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lang throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to Lang's liver.
