Ahmed Bashara vs Bruce Khaniri

Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2038,  taking place on 29/03/2038 from Kisumu, Kenya:

The Kisumu venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ahmed Bashara (6 - 15) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Bruce Khaniri(23 - 4(1)) from Athi River, Kenya.  

Round 1: 

Khaniri voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Bashara steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Bashara lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Bashara pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bashara tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
