Imran Omer vs Rehman Ayad

Boxing Daily Report from the Jordan National Finals 2038,  taking place on 29/03/2038 from Russeifa, Jordan:

The Russeifa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Imran Omer (17 - 16) who hails from Amman, Jordan and Rehman Ayad(22 - 15) from Amman, Jordan.  

Round 1: 

Ayad leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Omer tries to tag Ayad on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!

Omer sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Ayad lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.

Omer gets on the inside.  Ayad is on target with a left uppercut to Omer's body.  Ayad ties up his opponent.  Ayad leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Omer pushes his forearm into Ayad's face.  The ref breaks Ayad's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ayad is on target with a firm left hook.  Ayad holds on to his opponent.  Omer pushes his forearm into Ayad's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Omer.
