Haider Zogby vs Shayan Bashir

Boxing Daily Report from the Iran National Finals 2038,  taking place on 29/03/2038 from Tehran, Iran:

The Tehran venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Haider Zogby (13(3) - 7) who hails from Shiraz, Iran and Shayan Bashir(16 - 6(1)) from Isfahan, Iran.  

Round 1: 

Zogby lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Bashir tries to keep the action at long range and throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Bashir's body.  
Zogby drives a sharp left hook into Bashir's liver.  
Zogby lands a jab.

Bashir throws a right hook, but Zogby clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Zogby pushes his forearm into Bashir's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Zogby to stop fouling.

Zogby forces Bashir to retreat onto the ropes.  Bashir tries to land a left hook, but Zogby blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Zogby pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Zogby digs in a sharp left hook to Bashir's body.  
Zogby pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Zogby sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into Bashir's body.  
Zogby steps inside and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Zogby clinches his opponent.  Zogby uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bashir behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Zogby to stop fouling.

Zogby is on target with a left uppercut to Bashir's body.  
Bashir throws a left hook, but Zogby clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bashir pushes his forearm into Zogby's face.  The ref breaks Zogby's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Bashir sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bashir lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Zogby is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zogby drives a right hook into Bashir's ribs.  
Zogby finds the target with a jab.  
Bashir connects with a firm cross.
