Greg Abram vs Pat McSorley

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/03/2038 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Greg Abram (20(4) - 9) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Pat McSorley(5 - 7) from Boston, USA.  

Round 1: 

Abram sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McSorley lands a straight 1 - 2.  
McSorley tries to keep the action at long range and drives a solid cross into Abram's body.  
McSorley pivots to the right of his opponent.  McSorley tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to McSorley's ribs.  
Abram is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Abram walks McSorley down, trapping him in the corner.  McSorley lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Abram lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Abram throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
McSorley digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
McSorley lands a firm right hook.  
Abram lands a cross to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
McSorley pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Abram steps inside.  McSorley digs in a stinging left hook to Abram's ribs.  
Abram tries to land a jab, but McSorley sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Abram gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Abram is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp right hook.

Abram closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Abram steps inside and connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Abram forces McSorley to retreat onto the ropes.  Abram lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McSorley sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McSorley throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Abram's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
McSorley throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Abram lands a cross.  
McSorley manouvers Abram onto the ropes.  McSorley lands a stinging jab.  
McSorley finds the target with a stiff jab.  
McSorley sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Abram lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
McSorley lands two jab's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Abram is on target with a sharp left uppercut.  
Abram digs in a left hook to McSorley's ribs.  
Abram lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...McSorley's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Abram gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Abram ties up his opponent.  Abram is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Abram is looking to close the distance and connects with a sharp right hook.  
McSorley throws a right hook, but Abram ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Abram pushes his forearm into McSorley's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McSorley lands a left uppercut.  
Abram closes the distance.  McSorley attempts to land a left hook, but Abram sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
McSorley lands a solid cross.  
Abram lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Abram sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McSorley throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Abram.  
Abram steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Abram holds on to his opponent.  Abram is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Abram tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McSorley's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McSorley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stiff jab.  
Abram lands a solid jab.  
Abram steps inside and drives a right hook into McSorley's ribs.  
Abram lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Abram lands a solid jab.  
Abram tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
McSorley pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Abram lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  McSorley quickly recovers.
