Chris Cabana vs Alec Hovey

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/03/2038 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Cabana (36 - 7) who hails from Henderson, USA and Alec Hovey(0 - 4) from Paterson, USA.  

Round 1: 

Cabana steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hovey sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Cabana lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Cabana quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Cabana is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Hovey walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Cabana hits home with a firm right hook.  
Cabana finds the target with a jab.  
Hovey lands a jab.  
Hovey manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Cabana lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Cabana tries to keep the action at long range.  Cabana feints a left hook, and then tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Hovey steps inside.  Cabana hits home with a left hook.  
Hovey forces Cabana to retreat onto the ropes.  Cabana lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Hovey attempts to land a right hook, but Cabana blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Hovey gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but Cabana clinches his opponent.  Hovey pushes his forearm into Cabana's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hovey about fouling.  
Cabana steps to the outside.  Cabana quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hovey closes the distance.  Cabana lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
