Peter Preddy vs Steven Neal

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia National Finals 2038,  taking place on 14/03/2038 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Preddy (13 - 7) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Steven Neal(18 - 5) from Adelaide, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Neal closes the distance and connects with a right uppercut.

Neal is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm right hook to Preddy's body.  
Neal forces Preddy to back into the ropes.  Neal lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Preddy steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Neal's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.

Neal lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Neal connects with a cross.  Neal tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
