Boxing Daily Report from the Egypt National Finals 2038,  taking place on 14/03/2038 from Shubra El-Kheima, Egypt:

The Shubra El-Kheima venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gazi Rasul (19(1) - 24) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Ibrahim Elbadwi(20(2) - 7) from Shubra El-Kheima, Egypt.  

Round 1:

Rasul tries to land a cross, but Elbadwi blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rasul closes the distance.  Elbadwi lands a stinging right hook.  
Rasul walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Elbadwi lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Rasul lands with a stinging jab.  
Rasul closes the distance and lands a right hook.  Elbadwi clinches his opponent.  Elbadwi uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Rasul behind the head.

Elbadwi is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Elbadwi DETONATES a hurtful left hook on his opponents face.  RASUL IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  It looks like Rasul has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Rasul lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rasul closes the distance.  Elbadwi lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  Elbadwi clinches his opponent.  Elbadwi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Rasul tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Elbadwi's kidney. 
Elbadwi is on target with a firm right hook.  
Elbadwi gets on the inside.  Elbadwi throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Rasul's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rasul's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Rasul closes the distance.  Elbadwi lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Elbadwi feints a right hook, but Rasul ignores the feint and lands with a sharp cross.  
Elbadwi connects with a right hook.  
Rasul lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Elbadwi stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Rasul attempts to land a jab, but Elbadwi slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rasul closes the distance.  Elbadwi lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Elbadwi feints a left, and then lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING RASUL TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Rasul is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Elbadwi!
