Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/03/2038 from Lonueuil, Canada:

The Lonueuil venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jack Beall (9(1) - 8) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and Rob Peden(10 - 10) from Surrey, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Peden pivots from in front of his opponent, but Beall lands a spiteful jab.  
Peden sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Beall closes the distance.  Peden drives a solid right hook into Beall's body.  
Beall drives a stinging left hook into Peden's body.

Peden forces Beall to retreat onto the ropes.  Peden sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Beall lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Beall lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Beall holds on to his opponent.  Peden pushes his forearm into Beall's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Beall advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Peden quickly recovers.

Beall slams a hurtful right hook into Peden's body.  PEDEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Peden manouvers Beall onto the ropes.  Beall is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Beall lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a cross to the head.  
Peden steps away from his opponent.  Beall is on target with a cross.  Beall throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  Peden now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
