Boxing Daily Report from the Bahamas National Finals 2038,  taking place on 11/03/2038 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Dewart (33(1) - 14) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Nathan Quigg(6 - 10) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1:

Quigg attempts to land a jab, but Dewart parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Dewart steps inside and lands a right uppercut.  
Dewart throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dewart walks Quigg onto the ropes.  Dewart connects with a right uppercut.  
Dewart pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Quigg lands a sharp jab.  Quigg tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Quigg throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Quigg is on target with a solid left hook.  
Dewart is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Quigg throws a right uppercut, but Dewart ties up his opponent.  Quigg pushes his forearm into Dewart's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dewart lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Dewart clinches his opponent.  Dewart pushes his forearm into Quigg's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dewart to stop fouling.  
Dewart cuts off the ring, trapping Quigg on the ropes.  Dewart is on target with a sharp left hook.  Dewart tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dewart is looking to close the distance.  Quigg throws a left hook, but Dewart holds on to his opponent.  Quigg is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Quigg about fouling.
